Welcome to my journey through the dynamic worlds of media, communication, and content creation. My name is Shujauddin Qureshi, and I bring over three decades of rich, cross-functional experience in communications, knowledge management, project advocacy, and media relations. Throughout my career, I have honed my ability to craft compelling narratives, manage complex projects, and build lasting connections across diverse audiences and stakeholders. Allow me to take you through my professional story and the values that define my work.
A Journey of Dedication and Expertise
My career began in 1991 when I joined the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) in Karachi as a reporter and sub-editor. During my 14-year tenure, I wrote extensively on various topics, including business, technology, environment, politics, culture, and social issues. This role was instrumental in developing my storytelling skills and sharpening my ability to analyze and present complex information. From creating news stories to editing at the City Desk, these formative years helped me cultivate a deep appreciation for the power of accurate and impactful communication.
In 2005, I transitioned to the NGO Resource Centre (A Project of Aga Khan Foundation) as a Communication Officer. Here, I was entrusted with developing communication strategies, managing media relations, and producing publications such as the quarterly journal and newsletters. My editorial work included overseeing design and layout, ensuring that the message reached the intended audience with clarity and precision. These responsibilities expanded my expertise in creating and managing content that resonates with both local and international audiences.
Leadership in Advocacy and Networking
My passion for advocacy found its true calling during my tenure at the Pakistan Institute of Labor Education and Research (PILER), where I served as Manager of Advocacy and Networking from 2009 to 2021. Over 12 years, I played a pivotal role in crafting and executing communication strategies that amplified the organization’s mission. Whether it was mobilizing media to highlight pressing labor issues, compiling research reports, or coordinating publications, I ensured that every piece of content aligned with PILER’s advocacy goals.
I also took charge of managing the organization’s online presence, ensuring that websites and social media platforms were consistently updated with engaging and accurate content. My role required me to liaise directly with media outlets, donors, and stakeholders, facilitating meaningful conversations and fostering long-term partnerships. This period cemented my reputation as a leader who can navigate the intricate dynamics of advocacy and communication with ease.

Writing has always been my passion, and I have channeled this enthusiasm into various platforms, including my personal blogs and affiliate marketing websites. My blogs reflect a diverse array of interests, from technology and current affairs to lifestyle and personal development. Through these platforms, I connect with a global audience, offering insights and fostering conversations on topics that matter.
My experience in blogging extends beyond personal endeavors. I have successfully managed blogs for organizations, ensuring that content aligns with branding and communication objectives. By blending creativity with strategy, I aim to craft content that not only informs but also inspires action.
Expertise in Knowledge Management

This role highlighted my ability to capture, safeguard, and share critical information, ensuring that knowledge is both accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
